Clear Branding website – a case study

The brief : Clear Branding, which specialises in promotional merchandise, personalised products and design services approached us because they were seeking new inspiration for their website. The number of enquiries the site was generating was flagging – only around 15 a month – and new content was needed. They asked for our input on how to improve the navigation of the site and write or redraft all the content.

The solution : Having wire-framed an alternative top line navigation, which clearly outlined Clear Branding’s three main service areas, we began writing content. Priorities were agreed with their in-house designer and we worked at the same pace as him, using Google Docs to drop the content in so he could incorporate it into the design, page by page. Language was simplified and content was shortened to make the products themselves stand out. Crucially, the user benefits of each service and product were clearly emphasised.

The result : The fresh and concise copy guides visitors around the site, presenting them with options and giving them a positive experience with the brand .
